Happy Birthday

No matter where you go, there you are. And here I am camped by a tidal creek at Cape Keraudren about 400km south west of Broome, Western Australia. Ten years ago it would have been impossible to update a website through a portable satellite connection running on solar power. In fact a little over ten years ago I was slaving away on a pentium II beige box just trying to build a simple web site that would sell enough Wicked Weasel bikinis to pay the rent. How times have changed.
But whilst our modest success might have taken a toll on my waist size, some things never change. Wicked Weasel still manufactures and retails the best quality micro bikinis and undies on the planet. The Wicked Weasel crew is tirelessly dedicated to providing the high standard of service you would expect of a company that is best in its class. And we continue to celebrate our birthday each year by giving stuff away.
By selling direct Wicked Weasel has to evaluate on an ongoing basis what customers will buy from our several thousand variations. It’s quite easy to make mistakes plus there are any number of unforseen external supply problems that can result in surpluses. Over the years we have become more experienced at predicting sales but we still find ourselves with quite a bit of first quality stock that we cannot effectively sell through our existing channels.
As a specialist low volume manufacturer Wicked Weasel has rejected the concept of outlet stores or clearance sales in general. We prefer to keep our pricing consistent throughout the year and across the world. The birthday giveaway is our fun way of dealing with surplus products and acknowledging those who support our label.
This year we will only be offering bikini bottoms and knickers with maybe a few accessories. Unfortunately we just don’t have a surplus of bikini tops in S, M or L sizes this year. We know this will be a disappointment to some but we encourage girls to get out there in bare minimum this summer in celebration of 10 years of Wicked Weasel naughtiness. (Less = More) We do our best to match sizes but please don’t make a purchase just to get something for free as we wouldn’t want you to be disappointed.
All of us at Wicked Weasel appreciate your continued support.

Moon at sunset. The sun was going down over the sea behind me and the moon rising over the Cape Range.

Display home in Karratha. An enormous number of houses being built to cater for this growing resource town. This house is a bit flash but I wonder if the low flat roof will provide for adequate heat isolation in the summer.
|
The vast majority of homes now being built in Karratha are steel frame with corrugated steel roofing and cladding. Boring but functional and durable in this setting.

Marble Bar is the hottest place in Australia but I'm headed for Broome.
